This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by us when you visit or make a purchase from S-Fifteen Instruments Pte. Ltd. through our website, www.s-fifteen.com.

1: Definition of Personal Information collected

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are referring to both Order Information and Device Information, to the extent that they may be regarded as personal data within the meaning of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (“PDPA”).

2: Use of Personal Information

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information for the following purposes:

• Conducting investigations relating to disputes, billing or fraud;

• When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, providing you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

• Resolving complaints and responding to and handling requests and enquiries;

• Providing customer care, and other after sales services;

Ltd. (including but not limited to responding to regulatory complaints, disclosing to regulatory bodies and conducting audit checks, due diligence and investigations);

• any purposes which are reasonably related or incidental to any of the foregoing.

In relation to particular products and services or in your interactions with us, we may also have specifically notified you of other purposes for which we collect, use or disclose your Personal Information. If so, we will collect, use and disclose your Personal Information for these additional purposes as well, unless we have specifically notified you otherwise.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

3: Protection of Personal Information

We will take appropriate and commercially reasonable technical, physical, and administrative measures to protect any Personal Information in our possession or control from any unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or other similar risks (collectively, “Unauthorized Use”) in accordance with applicable laws, including by ensuring that. Personal Information is contained in secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of employees who have special access rights to such systems. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

4: Retention of Personal Information

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records until such time as we are required to delete the same, whether pursuant to your request or otherwise under the PDPA.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, we will retain all Personal Information in accordance with the PDPA and other applicable laws. That is, we will destroy or anonymize your personal data when we have reasonably determined that (i) the purpose for which that personal data was collected is no longer being served by the retention of such personal data; (ii) retention is no longer necessary for any legal or business purposes. If you cease using the Platform, or your permission to use the Platform and/or the Services is terminated or withdrawn, we may continue storing, using and/or disclosing your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our obligations under the Privacy Laws. Subject to applicable law, we may securely dispose of your personal data without prior notice to you.

5: Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

6. Third Party Services

Subject to the provisions of any applicable law, your Personal Information may be disclosed, for the purposes listed in Article 3 above (where applicable), to the following persons:

• S-Fifteen Instruments Pte. Ltd’s related corporations or affiliates and their employees to provide content, products and services to you.
• Agents, contractors or third party service providers who provide services to S-Fifteen Instruments Pte. Ltd.;
• any business partner, investor, assignee or transferee (actual or prospective) to facilitate business asset transactions (which may extend to any merger, acquisition or asset sale) involving any of S-Fifteen Instruments Pte. Ltd.’s related corporations or affiliates;
• our professional advisers such as auditors, financial advisers and lawyers;
• relevant government regulators, statutory boards or authorities or law enforcement agencies to comply with any laws, rules, guidelines and regulations or schemes imposed by any governmental authority; and
• any other party to whom you specifically authorize us to disclose your Personal Information.

Further, we may also share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Where your Personal Information is to be transferred to a country or territory outside Singapore (such as where it is disclosed to a recipient located overseas), we will take appropriate steps to ensure that we will continue to comply with our obligations under the PDPA in respect of the transferred personal data while it remains in our possession or under our control and the foreign recipient of the Personal Information is legally bound to provide a standard of protection to the Personal Information that is comparable to the protection afforded under the PDPA, or that such transfer will otherwise be in compliance with the PDPA.

7. Withdrawal of Consent, Access and Correction of your Personal Information

If you:

• have any questions or feedback relating to your Personal Information or our Data Protection Policy;
• would like to withdraw your consent to our collection, use or disclosure of your Personal Information as set out in this Privacy Policy or otherwise; or
• would like to access or correct, update or delete any of your Personal Information in our possession or control, please contact us in accordance with Article 10 below.

We reserve the right to refuse to correct your Personal Information where so permitted under applicable laws.

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

9. Changes

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
